From New York City

Travel East on the Long Island Expressway to Exit 62. Go North on County Road 97 (Nicolls Road) Approx. 9 Miles to Sheep Pasture Road. Just before the Long Island Railroad overpass, at the 5th traffic light after the intersection of Nicolls Road and Rte. 347, turn right onto Sheep Pasture Road. Follow along the golf course and turn right at the club entrance.

St. George's Golf Club was designed in 1917 by famed Devereux Emmett, the golf course will test the golfer's skills of all levels.

Dress Code


Proper golf attire is required for all players. This dress code applies to every area of the Club. Men are required to wear collared shirts and they should be tucked in at all times and all hats must be worn with the brim facing forward. Bermuda-length shorts are considered appropriate. Cargo pants, cargo shorts, and denim jeans are not acceptable attire. Ladies are required to wear slacks, skirts, or Bermuda-length shorts. Men should remove their hats in the Dining Room and the upstairs bar area. Improperly dressed golfers will be asked to change before playing.

Communication Devices


Cell phone use is strictly prohibited on the golf course. Cell phones and other electronic devices may only be used in the parking lot, Locker Room and Halfway House or in specifically identified areas of the Clubhouse.

Golf at St. George


When arriving at the St. George's, your clubs should be dropped at the bag drop next to the driving range. Changing of golf shoes is prohibited in the parking lot. You must then check in with the Pro Shop and they will direct you to the appropriate locker room. A guest locker for you to change clothes and shoes will be provided. Guests should arrive no earlier then 30 minutes of their member. A round of golf at St. George's should be played on a four hour pace.
