Guidelines to follow: Updates 5/17
 
  • Make sure to make a tee time. Reservations can be made 48 hours before at 7:00 AM, online, at www.stgeorgesgolf.com under the “Golf” drop down or on the St. Georges App which is listed under “Tournaments.” The reasoning for the implementation of tee times right now is so that we can manage the flow of traffic and adhere to social distancing.  All members and guests must check in, tee off from Hole #1 and in 12 minute intervals. The first time of the day will be at 8:00 AM on weekdays and 7:00 AM weekends. The last cart will be let out at 5:00 PM.  The range will be open from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM weekdays and 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM weekends. If you are coming to the club last minute and want to play, please at least call to get a time or book a time online.  All people whose names are entered into the system will get an email confirmation.  Please also note that the use of tee times is a temporary measure.
 
  • Members will be restricted to one person to a cart.  The only exceptions that we will make is that if you are playing with your spouse or children.  Carts will be washed down after each use and disinfected. 
 
 
  • Beginning May 17, the locker rooms will be open so that you may use the restroom and get things out of your locker.  Please note that no more than 4 people will be allowed in the side door at any time and we ask that you not travel upstairs toward the main lobby.  When entering, hand sanitizer and masks will be available for use. The upstairs door will remain locked.
 
 
  • The driving range will be limited to 8 stations which is intended to keep social distancing at a maximum.  We have added Pyramid Stackers to the range so that you can scoop balls over with your golf club so you don’t have to touch any of the surfaces.
 
  • Employees will not be handling bags at this time or cleaning clubs.  Outside services will be responsible for providing carts, cleaning them, and re-filling range balls.  I highly recommend taking your clubs with you at this time but if you want to store your bag, we will help you find your bag space and you will be responsible for putting it on the rack.  If you choose to take your clubs, feel free to take the cart to the parking lot to unload your bag and leave the cart by the bad drop.  Also, remember we have club scrubbing brushes on each of the carts and is an easy way to keep your clubs clean.
 
  • The Pro Shop will be open and we ask that no more than three Members or Guests be inside the shop at any time.   We will have hand sanitizer and masks available for use as you walk in.  Please let Employees handle any merchandise that you would like to purchase or try out. We will be disinfecting surfaces every day.  If anyone is not comfortable entering the shop but would like to purchase an item, we will be happy to bring it outside for you.
 
 
  • Bottled water will be provided at check in if you wish to take a bottle with you.  They will not be available on the course at this time. 
 
  • As stated, all cups on the golf course will have a foam insert that will allow you to keep the flag in and your ball from completely going into the hole.  This will keep you from having to touch the flagstick or the hole.  The course will also be without rakes.  I encourage you to use your feet to smooth over imperfections for the golfers behind you.  The USGA has indicated that Golf scores may also be posted with these modified cups as an addendum to Covid-19.  https://www.mgagolf.org/content/covid-19-rules
 
  • Guest Policy – Updated 5/17 – Members may have up to three guests Monday through Thursday anytime. Members may have up to one guest after 1 PM – Friday through Sunday.
